Neighbors and loved ones, their faces etched with grief, shared that Bilat Mia, despite desperate efforts, succumbed to his wounds at Cardiff Heath Hospital in South Wales on Wednesday.

Bilat Mia was a devoted father to his five children—three sons and two daughters. His eldest, Saifur Rahman, now 38, had been trapped in the grip of mental illness for a profound length of time. Two decades ago, his parents had hoped for healing and happiness, arranging his marriage in Bangladesh. His wife later joined him in the UK, and they even had a daughter. But the relentless shadow of Saifur's mental health struggles ultimately proved too much, leading to his wife and daughter's painful separation from him years ago.

The family had already endured immense heartache. Just a year ago, Saifur's mother, Bilat Mia's beloved wife, passed away from cancer. The weight of his illness continued to torment Saifur; only recently, police had to intervene when he attempted to jump from a multi-story building in Cardiff. It was Bilat Mia, with the unwavering love of a father, who had brought his son back home just days before this unimaginable tragedy.

Mr. Mostofa, a grieving relative of Bilat Mia, shared with Daily Dazzling Dawn that the post-mortem examination has not yet been completed, leaving the family in a painful limbo. They await its completion to determine the time for Bilat Mia's Janazah prayer, a final farewell for a man who deserved so much more.

On Thursday afternoon, M.A. Malik, a neighbor, spoke to Daily Dazzling Dawn of Bilat Mia with profound respect and sorrow. He recalled praying Jumu'ah with him just last Friday, a poignant memory of a life abruptly cut short. Malik described Bilat Mia as more than just a neighbor; he was a kind, friendly soul, a truly good person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
