West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that the investigation remains active with several individuals still under scrutiny. Family Tributes and Community Support

The death of the Gomersal teenager has sparked an outpouring of grief and solidarity across West Yorkshire. Chloe’s family issued an emotional tribute, describing her as a "beautiful princess" who was "stunning, confident, and loyal." Her mother told journalists that Chloe was her "best friend" and that her absence has left an "immeasurable hole" in their hearts. A memorial site at the scene of the incident has been filled with flowers and cards. Furthermore, a GoFundMe page established by Chloe's cousin to support the family and cover funeral costs has surpassed its initial goals, raising nearly £15,000 as of April 1, reflecting the deep community impact.

Next Steps in the Legal Process

The case will resume at Leeds Crown Court on April 2, 2026. This hearing is expected to address the roadmap for the trial and provide the first opportunity for bail applications to be formally considered by a Crown Court judge. West Yorkshire Police continue to appeal to the public for assistance. Detectives are particularly interested in any mobile phone, CCTV, or dashcam footage from the Kennerleigh Avenue area recorded around 6:00 a.m. on the morning of the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Major Enquiry Team or use the dedicated public portal.

Latest Update: Court Remands Three as Investigation Into Chloe’s Death Expands

There were emotional scenes at Leeds Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning as the parents of three teenagers charged with the murder of Chloe Watson Dransfield were seen sobbing in the public gallery.
