A woman in her 30s has died following a serious road traffic collision in East London during the early hours of Sunday, April 5.

Emergency services were called at approximately 3:30am after reports of a crash involving two vehicles at the junction of Commercial Road and East India Dock Road in Limehouse. Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

Three individuals were found with serious injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, a female passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that her family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.

Two men — one in his 20s and another in his 40s — have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both suspects remain in hospital receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the collision.

He also confirmed that an investigation is ongoing as police work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
