The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expedited the procedure for private sector workers to get work permits and resident visas earlier this year.

The Gulf nation introduced the “Work Bundle” platform, which integrates services from various departments to expedite the issuance of work permits and residency visas. Initially launched in Dubai, the project will expand to other areas in its next phase.

The involved entities include the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and Dubai Health.

By providing a single platform for employment services, such as renewal, cancellation, medical exams, and fingerprinting, this effort seeks to support web 3 and private companies.
