Starmer stated that challenges encountered by foreign nationals visiting the UK can be evident on local streets. "It echos at home, and the effects play out in our streets…," Starmer told reporters.
Starmer stated that the Labour government would revise the strategy by "resetting the approach."
The UK is claimed to be collaborating with agencies such as Europol to gain a better understanding of illegal immigration operations. Starmer has also chosen his Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, to oversee the situation.
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office will roll out up to £84 million funding over the next 3 years to address the reasons for illegal migration.
