Daily Dazzling Dawn has delivered food items to more than 500 flood-dwelling people at temporary shelters in Moulvibazar.
Members of the Campaign for Media Freedom (CMF) distributed food items to flood shelters on Saturday (August 24) on behalf of Daily Dazzling Dawn, the first and only Bangladeshi-owned English newspaper published in Britain.
CMF President Md. Hossain Ahmed, Dazzling Dawn's Multimedia Editor Kamran Ahmed, Chief Developer Md. Tayobur Rahman, and Online Newsroom Editor Shubo Gowala Overall management of this relief distribution was completed. There were present, among others former president of Moulvibazar press club Abdul Hamid Mahbub, ex-vice chairman Hafiz Alaur Rahman Tipu, senior journalist Nurul Islam Seful, monubarta editor Md Josim Uddin, director of Sylhet Imperial Hospital Dr Nijam Ahmed Chowdhury, senior journalist Abdul Aziz, NTV Europe correspondent Shahnewaz Chowdhury Sumon, teacher M. A. Hamid and Dr Shah Sabbir Ali.
From tomorrow, free medical camps will be organised continuously in flood shelters on behalf of the newspaper.
It is to be noted that since its beginning, Daily Dazzling Dawn has been running various social activities with complete self-financing.

The death toll rose to 15 as at least five rivers in the South Asian nation faced the severest flooding since 2018, according to government data. Eleven districts were affected.
