After being suspended for yelling about "genocide" outside the Senate doors, Lidia Thorpe has stormed back into parliament. Dazzling Dawn understands on a daily basis The rebel senator repeatedly called One Nation leader Pauline Hanson a "convicted racist" on Wednesday, tearing up documents about fellow independent senator Fatima Payman's eligibility for parliament before hurling them at her. Then, as she bounded out of the chamber, Senator Thorpe seemed to give her the finger over her shoulder.The Senate on Wednesday night passed a motion to suspend Senator Thorpe for 'disorderly conduct' from the chamber until the end of Thursday, which is also the final scheduled parliamentary sitting day of 2024.
But she turned up on Thursday morning to shout outside the chamber doors.She then turned up in the press gallery where she shouted 'free free Palestine, from the river to the sea Palestine will be free' before leaving.
