$10,000 reward offered after Houston mosque vandalized

In August, federal agents were searching for a guy who had destroyed a mosque in Houston. On Monday, the FBI Houston Field Office made public images of a man and a car that are wanted in relation to the damage to Houston's Baitus Samee Mosque, located at 1333 Spears Road.A man entered the mosque property after parking a unique automobile at a nearby gas station, according to the FBI, and then spray-painted an obscene statement in black paint. The message was written in Urdu. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and, along with English, is mainly spoken across South Asia.The incident happened on Aug. 14, 2024 at 2:37 p.m.

The photos show a man wearing a red beanie, a long-sleeve plaid shirt and dark pants. The car is a silver Honda Accord with damage to the front bumper, hood and passenger rear quarter panel. The FBI offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of the man.
