The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of President Donald Trump's administration, allowing it to restart deporting migrants to countries other than their own.
In a 6-3 decision, the court overturned a previous ruling that had required the government to provide migrants with a genuine chance to explain any dangers they might face if sent to a third country.
The court's three liberal justices—Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, and Ketanji Brown Jackson—strongly disagreed with the decision, issuing a sharp dissent.
This marks another legal win for the Republican president as he pushes forward with his plans for widespread deportations.
