Teen Fighting for Life After London Shooting

A 17-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being shot in north London.

Emergency services rushed to High Road, Arnos Grove, shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, following reports of a shooting. The teenager suffered serious gunshot injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

The Metropolitan Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward by calling 101.

Detective Sergeant Catherine Dempster said officers are “working swiftly to identify those responsible” and urged residents to help with the investigation.

She added: “If you heard gunfire or have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area at the time, please contact us immediately.”
