A man has died and two others have been injured following a stabbing incident in west London.
Emergency services were called to Midhurst Gardens in Uxbridge at around 5pm on Monday after reports of multiple stabbings.
According to the Metropolitan Police, a 49-year-old man was found with stab wounds and died at the scene despite efforts to save him. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
A 45-year-old man was also taken to hospital with life-changing injuries, while a 14-year-old boy sustained wounds that were not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Officers deployed a Taser during the arrest. The suspect was taken to hospital as a precaution and later transferred to police custody after being declared fit.
A forensic tent remained in place late on Monday as detectives launched a murder investigation.
