5-Year-Old Boy Dies After Wall Collapse at Sidcup Family Golf Centre

A five-year-old boy has died and a six-year-old girl was injured after a wall collapsed at a golf centre, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to a business on Sidcup By-Pass in Chislehurst on Sunday evening following reports that a child had been hurt. The boy was airlifted to hospital by London Air Ambulance in a critical condition but sadly passed away on Tuesday.

According to the Metropolitan Police, his family is receiving support from specially trained officers. The injured girl has since been released from hospital.

Investigations are continuing, with officers working alongside local health and safety authorities.

In a statement, Sidcup Family Golf announced it had closed temporarily after the incident, adding: “Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and will provide further updates when appropriate.”
