Who Is the Best Airline 2025? Award Winner Announced

Qatar Airways has once again claimed the title of the “world’s best airline”, marking its ninth victory at the prestigious Business Traveller Awards in London. The airline has earned this top honour nine times in the last 15 years, with previous wins recorded in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2024.

At the same event, the carrier also won Best Business Class, Best Economy Class, Best Frequent Flyer Programme, Best Airline Lounge (Al Mourjan Lounges, DOH), and Best Airline Between Europe and the Middle East. Judges highlighted Qatar Airways’ outstanding onboard service and praised its modern features, including complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, calling the airline a leader in top-tier travel.

Based at Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha, Qatar Airways now serves more than 170 destinations across 90 countries, covering major cities in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Among its busiest routes is Doha to London Heathrow, operating up to 10 flights daily. The airline also runs a high number of services on the Doha–Abu Dhabi route, recording over 160 flights in a single month, while Doha–Dubai saw 155 flights during another one-month period. Routes to Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh and Jeddah, also remain in strong demand.
