Holly Willoughby Fined for Car Crash After Colliding with Moped

TV presenter Holly Willoughby has been fined after admitting to driving without due care and attention when her car collided with a moped, causing injuries to the rider.

The 44-year-old pleaded guilty by post at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and did not attend the hearing.

Willoughby was ordered to pay a £1,653 fine, £130 in costs, and a £661 victim surcharge, and received six penalty points on her driving licence, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The incident occurred on 28 August when she was driving her Mini Cooper near her Richmond home in southwest London. Police were called to Church Road, Barnes, following the collision.

The 43-year-old moped rider was taken to hospital, but his injuries were described as neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

Holly Willoughby is widely known for presenting Dancing On Ice and the ITV daytime show This Morning, which she left in October 2023.
