A strong earthquake struck near Guwahati on Tuesday morning at around 6:31 AM Bangladesh time, with tremors felt across northeastern India and parts of Bangladesh, including Sylhet. In Sylhet, residents experienced noticeable shaking, causing panic as many rushed out of homes and buildings.
Meanwhile, the National Center for Seismology reported that a magnitude 5.2 earthquake struck Manipur early Tuesday morning, with its epicentre located in Kamjong.
