An American influencer has been charged with assault following an incident at Bond Street Underground station, according to the British Transport Police.
Police said Melissa Rein Lively, 40, has been charged with assault by beating after the incident, which took place on the evening of 11 October last year.
German national Philipp Ostermann, 37, has also been charged with two racially aggravated public order offences and an additional public order offence.
According to police, the charges relate to two alleged victims connected to the incident at the central London Underground station.
Rein Lively is known as the founder of America First PR, which she describes on social media as an “anti-woke” public relations firm.
British Transport Police confirmed that both defendants are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday for the first hearing in the case.
