The family of Christopher Faulkner, the young cousin of Scarlett Faulkner, has made another emotional appeal for prayers as the child continues his recovery following a devastating road crash in Belfast.

In a heartfelt social media update, relatives revealed that Christopher was undergoing further surgery and asked supporters to keep him in their thoughts.

“Everyone please keep my nephew Christopher in your prayers, as he has surgery today. Please God and Our Blessed Lady, everything will go alright for him,” a family member wrote online.

The Faulkner family has faced unimaginable heartbreak in recent weeks. Already grieving the deaths of siblings Scarlett and Jason Faulkner, the family was struck by further tragedy when Christopher was seriously injured in a fatal two-car collision on April 26.

The crash, which happened in Belfast, also claimed the life of another teenage boy. Family members expressed their condolences while continuing to ask the public to pray for Christopher’s recovery.

Earlier updates shared by relatives revealed the young boy had undergone scans on his brain, spine, and neck as doctors monitored the extent of his injuries. The family said they were hoping for positive results and thanked supporters for the overwhelming response of prayers, candles, and masses dedicated to Christopher.

“When you truly believe in prayers, miracles do happen,” one emotional post read after the family received encouraging medical news.

Scarlett’s cousin, Victoria Faulkner, also shared an emotional video online asking people across Ireland to unite in prayer for Christopher.

“He’s only eleven years of age and he needs as many prayers as he can get,” she said. “I know God can work miracles.”

The Faulkner family has remained in the public spotlight following the death of Scarlett Faulkner, 29, who died in April after an alleged assault in Co Tipperary. Her brother Jason tragically passed away just days later after his body was recovered from the Abbey River in Limerick.

As court proceedings and investigations linked to Scarlett’s death continue, supporters across the country have continued sending messages of support to the grieving family.

Despite the immense pain they have endured, relatives say they remain hopeful that Christopher will continue to recover with the strength of community support and ongoing prayers.
