British Prime Minister Congratulates Daily Dazzling Dawn as Readership Hits Six Million

The British Prime Minister's Office has officially congratulated 'Daily Dazzling Dawn', the first and only full-fledged mainstream Bangladeshi-owned news media outlet in the UK and Europe, on the occasion of its third anniversary.

In an official letter sent from 10 Downing Street on June 2, 2026, Mandy Godridge, Head of the Direct Communications Unit, sent this official letter to Mr. Munzer Ahmed Chowdhury, the founder and publisher of Daily Dazzling Dawn. Highlighting the deep significance of the media outlet's work, the letter stated, "My warm congratulations to you on the third anniversary of your newspaper. I am sure that your contribution will be particularly appreciated by the British-Bangladeshi community and all those who value the strong relationship between our two countries."

Highlighting the future journey of the media institution, the Downing Street letter further added, "As you celebrate this historic milestone, I send my best wishes for the continued success of Daily Dazzling Dawn in the coming years."

Previously, during last year's anniversary celebration, a similar official message of appreciation was sent from the Prime Minister's Office. This recognition from the heart of the British government reaffirms the media outlet's growing influence and its well-established role in promoting social harmony and international dialogue. It is worth noting that Daily Dazzling Dawn is the first full-fledged mainstream newspaper published from the British-Bangladeshi community in the UK, which has emerged as the first and only mainstream newspaper in the UK as well as the whole of Europe led by Bangladeshis.

On the third anniversary of Daily Dazzling Dawn, only two political personalities were invited who wrote special editorials. This year, at the invitation of Daily Dazzling Dawn, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and the first British-Bangladeshi Member of Parliament (MP), Rushanara Ali, wrote special columns.

Operating under a strict policy of ethical journalistic independence, Daily Dazzling Dawn shines with the unique characteristic of not accepting any form of donations, corporate gifts, or subscription fees from readers. This model ensures that its news gathering and public interest reporting remain completely uncompromising, unbiased, and entirely independent.
