An emergency response is currently underway along one of east London's primary transit arteries following a sudden roadside blaze that has triggered widespread travel disruption.
The incident, which broke out during the early afternoon, prompted an influx of approximately 90 emergency calls from passing motorists and local residents within minutes of the outbreak. Emergency services were initially alerted at 1:38 pm, forcing immediate interventions along the eastbound carriageway of the A13 Newham Way in East Ham.
As reported by daily dazzling dawn, specialized first responders from Plaistow, Barking, and surrounding municipal stations were mobilized immediately to contain the fire, which occurred on a strip of land positioned between the junctions of Prince Regent Lane and Woolwich Manor Way.
