A twenty-two-year-old man has been sentenced to nine and a half years in prison at Manchester Crown Court after being convicted of rape and multiple violent assaults against a sixteen-year-old girl. Callan Hennessey, of Ferndene Road, Manchester, subjected the teenager to repeated attacks over a six-week duration before police intervention brought an end to the abuse. In addition to his custodial sentence, the court imposed an indefinite restraining order and placed Hennessey on the sex offenders register for life.
Police Investigation and Hospital Admission
The investigation commenced in April 2025 after a concerned relative contacted Greater Manchester Police when the sixteen-year-old victim attended hospital requiring treatment for multiple visible injuries.
