Scotland's First Minister Reports No Issues North of the Border
Following riots in other parts of the UK during the past week, the first minister has been meeting with the chief constable of Police Scotland.
Although there hasn't been any violence of this kind in Scotland, authorities claim to be actively observing the issue.
John Swinney says he wants people in all communities in Scotland to feel safe as he is meeting with representatives of the local community at Edinburgh Central Mosque.
He claims that he was promised a "sophisticated" intelligence operation by the chief constable, and that as of now, no specific difficulties have been identified in Scotland.
