Google pixel invention
You may have been wondering when Android 15 will be released by Google after the Pixel 9 family launched a few weeks ago with Android 14 preinstalled. Today, a new rumour claims that the corporation would only release Android 15 to Pixel users in October, maybe near the middle of the month.
This is in spite of the rumour that Google plans to make the source code for Android 15 publicly available the following week. The launch of Pixels used to coincide with the day the source code was released, but as of late, the Pixel team has been delaying updates until they're absolutely ready. This allows it more time to polish Pixel Drops' marketing, test updates, and work out any last-minute glitches. The Pixel release was also postponed last year compared to the original schedule, and it appears that this will happen once more for the same reason.
The same source claims that the Android 15 update for pixels is being withheld to improve its stability. Hopefully there's enough time between now and mid-October to make that a reality.
