Four Bangladeshis who had been held inside a residence in the Airport Road neighborhood, south of Tripoli, have been released, according to the Security Directorates Support Apparatus in the Regions. Without specifying the time of the kidnapping or the name of the city, the apparatus stated that the Bangladeshis were abducted while they were leaving a mosque in a Libyan city.According to the Apparatus, the individuals were taken by cargo truck for approximately 250 kilometers while wearing handcuffs before arriving at the prison facility on Airport Road, which serves as the kidnappers' hideout. Before the four Bangladeshis could be freed, the kidnappers demanded 50,000 dinars. This was before "the police and members of the 111th Brigade were able to approach.
The Apparatus confirmed the arrest of one of the accused in kidnapping the Bangladeshis, while the search was ongoing for the rest of those involved.
