As the first South Asian and Muslim to be elected President of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Ayla Majid of Pakistan has created history.

She is the CEO of a company that provides energy transition, sustainability, and decarbonisation advice.

During her one-year term, Ayla Majid will oversee over 250,000 current members and 526,00 prospective members of ACCA in 180 countries.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of London and a Master of Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
