But she could have stopped the controversy three weeks ago by resigning earlier. The hope is that she will turn around by proving all the allegations false. For now, she has to prepare to rise from this controversial exit. She is just in her forties and has time. After winning a majority of 14,188 votes in 2015, Tulip Siddiq was reelected in 2019 as the Labour MP for Hampstead and Kilburn. Inner North London is where the Hampstead and Kilburn constituency is located. The seat encompasses Swiss Cottage, West Hampstead, Kilburn, and Belsize Park and is located in the northern section of Camden. Since 1992, it has been hosted by the Labour Party. There are sizable Muslim and Jewish communities in the ethnically diverse seat. During the 2016 EU referendum, a resounding 76% of voters favored staying in the EU. From 1992 until 2015, the Oscar-winning actress Glenda Jackson represented the seat in Westminster.Tulip, who was born in Hampstead in 1982, became a member of the Labour Party at the age of sixteen. She worked for Amnesty International, the Greater London Authority, and in public relations at Philip Gould Associates, Save the Children, and Brunswick after graduating from Kings College London. She also advised Tessa Jowell, the former cabinet minister. From 2010 to 2014, Siddiq was elected to the Camden Council.
