BNP chairperson Begum haleda Zia's physician and BNP Standing Committee member, Dr. A ZM Zahid Hossain said, Khaleda Zia's physical condition is stable. Doctors visit her regularly at home. Doctors are monitoring her closely. Besides physical treatment, Begum Zia is doing well mentally now after nearly seven years with her family members. Mental peace is increasing her physical health. He further said, Khaleda Zia has recovered very well, I will not say that. But she is much better now than in the past. Begum Zia's treatment is going on from her son Mr Tarique Rahman's house. Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain commented that she will return to the very soon as per the doctor's advice. He said these things while talking to journalists at the end of the meeting and iftar mahfil organized by Zia Porishod,UK in London on Monday night.
Sources confirmed to Daily Dazzling Dawn that after arriving in London, the doctors in London or the medical board did not make any major changes in Khaleda Zia's treatment except for all her health checkups and changing the name and dosage of some medicines. She is being treated for her liver, kidney, diabetes, blood pressure, arthritis, and heart through medicines.
