A medical official at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported that an early morning airstrike by Israeli forces on Saturday killed seven people. The strike targeted a home sheltering displaced families in the city’s western area.
Medical sources at both Al-Shifa and Nasser hospitals confirmed that the overall death toll has climbed to 22 following a series of Israeli airstrikes on different parts of the Gaza Strip since dawn.
As of now, the Israeli military has not released any official comment on the attacks.
These latest strikes come amid an ongoing military escalation in Gaza, deepening the already severe humanitarian crisis caused by the prolonged blockade and critical shortages of essential supplies.
