Kane and Bellingham Reportedly Take Sexual Performance Drug in Bid to Beat Mexico

England are reportedly considering an unusual strategy ahead of their FIFA World Cup Round of 16 showdown against Mexico at the iconic Azteca Stadium, with British tabloid The Sun claiming the squad could use the sexual performance drug 'Viagra' to help combat the effects of high altitude.

Mexico have turned the Azteca into a fortress over the years. The national team has lost just two of its 89 matches at the historic venue, with the last defeat coming in 2013. At the FIFA World Cup, Mexico remain unbeaten at the stadium, recording eight wins and two draws in 10 matches.

According to The Sun, England manager Thomas Tuchel has approved the medical team's plan to consider the use of Viagra (sildenafil) as one of several methods to help players adapt to the challenging conditions in Mexico City.

The Azteca Stadium sits approximately 2,240 meters (7,350 feet) above sea level, where oxygen levels are lower than at sea level. Players who are not accustomed to such conditions can experience fatigue more quickly, making it harder to maintain stamina throughout the match.

Although Viagra is widely known as a treatment for erectile dysfunction, the medication also relaxes blood vessels and may improve blood circulation. Some studies suggest it could help the body cope with reduced oxygen availability at high altitude, although scientific evidence that it enhances athletic performance remains inconclusive.

The medication is not prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), meaning athletes are permitted to use it during competition if deemed medically appropriate.

Despite the reports, there has been no official confirmation from the England camp that players will take Viagra before facing Mexico. The claims remain based on media reports, while England's medical staff are understood to be exploring multiple strategies to reduce the impact of the high-altitude environment.
