A dramatic late-night altercation outside an upscale West End nightclub ended in fatal violence, leaving a prominent TikTok influencer dead and a former television pop star facing trial for murder.
Gabrielle Carrington, 29—a former X Factor finalist who performed with the girl group Miss Dynamix in 2013—has formally pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to the murder of social media personality Klaudia Zakrzewska. Carrington also denied causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche, who sustained life-changing injuries in the same incident.
The Incident Outside Inca Nightclub
According to prosecution statements delivered in court, the fatal incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, April 19, outside the Inca nightclub on Argyll Street, Soho.
Prosecution testimony described a chaotic scene where Carrington allegedly arrived in her Mercedes and became embroiled in a heated argument with an unidentified male after stepping out of the vehicle. As the disagreement escalated into a multi-person altercation, venue security, including 58-year-old Anoush Chyche, stepped in to intervene.
Footage captured by onlookers and circulated across social channels shows a woman re-entering a black vehicle, which then mounted the pavement sharply. The car struck 32-year-old Zakrzewska—known online to thousands of followers as Klaudiaglam—dragging her underneath the frame. As the vehicle reversed, Zakrzewska was left critically injured on the pavement alongside Chyche.
Zakrzewska was rushed to a central London hospital, where she succumbed to traumatic injuries six days later on April 25. Carrington, whose breathalyzer test recorded 61 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath (nearly twice the UK legal limit of 35mcg), was subsequently upgraded from attempted murder to murder charges.

While defense arguments will be presented at trial, investigative details and reports surrounding the two social media figures point to tensions that boiled over into real-world violence. Carrington, who operates under the handle @RIELLEUK with over 365,000 Instagram followers, and Zakrzewska were both prominent figures within London's high-profile clubbing and lifestyle influencer circles. Investigators are scrutinizing personal disputes and rumored online rivalries preceding the April 19 confrontation to establish the precise motive behind the sudden spike in hostility.
High Court Drama
Appearing via videolink from HMP Bronzefield before Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC, Carrington opted to represent herself during the plea hearing, making notes on a legal pad while interacting directly with the bench and prosecutor Crispin Aylett KC.
"This is my life. This is the toughest decision I have to make," Carrington told the court regarding her legal representation, while electing to enter formal not-guilty pleas.
Judge Whitehouse remanded Carrington into custody, setting a trial date for January 5 at the Old Bailey, with intermediate case management hearings scheduled for August and October.
