British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BBCCI) London Region hosted Iftar Mahfil. Md. Monir Ahmad, prominent businessman and president of the British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry London Region, presided over the Iftar and Doa Mahfil held at a restaurant in Whitechapel. Habibur Rahman Habib, Member of Parliament of Sylhet-3 Constituency was present as the Chief Guest in the Iftar Mahfil under the overall supervision of London Region Vice President Tofazzal Alam and Director General AKM Nuruzzaman. At this program, he urged to the British Bangladeshi businessmen to invest in Bangladesh and said that currently there is a good environment for investment in Bangladesh. If you invest in Bangladesh, all kinds of assistance will be provided by the government and you will be given security. Saidur Rahman Renu, president of British-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, spoke as the special speaker, Sahgir Bakat Farooq, head of the advisory board, Ahmedus Samad, chairman of Channel S, former president Bashir Ahmad, deputy director general Dewan Mahdi Chowdhury, vice president Mr Jahangir spoke as special guests.
