Two Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested after raiding a restaurant during the immigration raid.
Sources in the Home Office said that the Immigration officers of the Home Office conducted a raid based on a tip-off at the Bangladeshi-owned restaurant called Indiagate Tandoori in East Suffolk.The two detained Bangladeshi men have been arrested and the Home Office says they will be dealt with under immigration law.
After the home raid, the restaurant owner, who employed the two, was fined £20,000 per illegal worker.
The operation was conducted yesterday. Prior to this, the Home Office recently arrested more than 100 migrants in a 24-hour raid for living and working in Britain without valid documents.
